So originally Pensinve Monk and I were supposed to head up to the Owen Sound area to go to his brother's holiday party. But, after much constenation and weather checking we (this is to say mostly I) chickened out. Got to admit, in the snow, I am a lousy lousy passenger.

As a result we stayed home and finished a remarkable about of stuff! Yesterday, we went to Little India and found an outfit for my work holiday party,picked up the primer and paint (Pooh Bear Yellow) for the nursery, did three loads of laundry, wrapped a stack of gifts and got groceries. Today was baking day. Christmas combined with the nesting thing (I swear it is not an urban legand) meant that I wanted to make stuff! Shortbread, truffles, dough for gingerbread houses and dough for Chocolate chip cookies are all now sitting in my kitchen waiting to either be baked or distributed to people for the holidays. In the nursery, all of the trim is now off and the walls are waiting to be washed. Pensivemonk even managed to make up some of the cards to send off to people for Christmas. I am really pleased with how they are turning out, hopefully the people that get them will like them, they even have one of my B&W pictures on it!

Now if only my week is as productive as my weekend I will be very pleased!
